Remark: Soft white spring wheat. Awned, stiff straw, brown chaff when mature. Out yields check cultivars Owens and Fielder. Height 78cm. Maturity 5 to 6 days later than checks. Resistant to lodging and shattering. Resistant to prevalent races of stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis). Moderate resistance to black point (Alternaria alternata) and common bunt (Tilletia laevis and T. tritici). Highly susceptible to loose smut (Puccinia recondita) and powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis).
