Remark: Soft white winter wheat. Early maturity semidwarf with white grain and stiff straw. Spike awnletted, fusiform, mid-dense, square, beaks narrow, acute, and 2-3mm. Kernels white, mid-long, soft, ovate with small to mid-sized germ, and mid-wide, deep crease. Brush small. Averaged 8137kg ha-1 in yield trails and ranked first compared to commercial cvs. when grown in western Oregon. Shorter than currently grown cvs. and very resistant to lodging. Less winter hardy than Stephens. Resistant to prevalent northwestern USA biotypes of stripe rust, leaf rust, and septoria leaf blotch. Mod. to powdery mildew History: DEVELOPED 1992 Oregon, United States by Zwer, P., Oregon State University; Kronstad, W., Oregon State University; Karow, R., Oregon State University; Kolding, M., Oregon State University
