In breeder's seed nurseries exhibited <0.3% total variants involving tall plants, awned spikes, and spikes exhibiting blue-green coloration. At Wooster, OH, medium maturity and plant height 86.4 cm. Carries no known resistance genes to leaf rust (Puccinia triticinia). Carries the powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis) resistance genes Pm2 and Pm6 and has moderate partial resistance.
