Remark: Hard red winter wheat. Winter growth habit, mid-to-late maturity, and short standard height stature. Plants highly tillering, 2.5cm taller and anthesis one day later than Hatton. Semi-weak white straw. Glumes white, glabrous. Spikes medium. Awns white. Emergence & stand establishment excellent under stree conditions. Yield good with <25cm of annual rainfall. Susceptible to strawbreaker, dry land foot rots, and dwarf bunt. Moderately susceptible to stripe and leaf rusts and common bunt. Moderate resistance to snowmold, but weak strawed.
