Remark: Hard red spring wheat, semidwarf with white straw and chaff. Spike awned, nodding slightly at maturity. Kernels red, short and ovate with mid-sized brush. Hollow stemmed and susceptible to wheat stem sawfly (Cephus cinctus). Resistant to prevalent races of stem rust (Puccinia graminus). Susceptible to leaf rust (Puccinia recondita) and stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis). Matures at midseason.
